Navigating the early stages of parenthood can be overwhelming just by itself, so the stakes rise especially when you're far from home. At Baby&Beyond, our goal is to support parents with practical decisions before birth and during the first year of your baby's life.

Our mission is to provide comprehensive practical support for foreign parents in Portugal, guiding you through the practical decisions during the last few months of pregnancy and the first twelve months of your baby's life. We understand the unique needs and concerns that come with welcoming a new baby in a new environment, and we are here to ensure you have everything you need to thrive (and not to lose your mind in the process).

If that is so, you will know that I, Alexandra, the Founder, welcomed my 1 st child in 2019 at 45 years old.

What I sought while pregnant was unbiased advice so that I could analyse and then reach my own conclusions. I happened to be living in my country, Portugal and be fluent in the language and culture, but most of my friends had had children over 10 years before. So I relied on a few good friends, a few sources of information, such as a pre-natal course and then my instinct.

Parenthood does not come with an instruction manual. If there is one thing that is true is that with children nothing is ever constant, quoted by my good friend
Alexandra, in the midst of a burst of laughter - as I celebrated that my child ate beans, strawberries or something of the sort. Believe me, that can change quickly!

With that in mind I decided to create new service in Know Concierge: Baby&Beyond.

So what does Baby & Beyond offer?

Personalized Care: Our services are tailored to meet your needs, ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience, as you prepare for your baby's arrival and navigate the early stages of parenthood.
Expert Guidance: With a wealth of knowledge and experience from expert partners, B&B steers you towards the right support for reliable advice and practical solutions, from finding the best healthcare providers to sourcing essential baby products.
Seamless Transition: We help you settle into your new life in Portugal, offering support with legal requirements, housing, and integrating into the local community.
B&B was created by Know Concierge that has provided such services since 2012.
Continuous Support: Our commitment extends beyond the delivery room. We are here for you during the first year of your baby's life, providing ongoing assistance and resources to help you and your little one flourish.
Socializing activities to take your mind of diapers and lack of sleep: we will start with monthly BabYoga sessions to share experiences.

Baby & Beyond works with a 12-month subscription model paid on a monthly basis.
